El trepacolas golondrina de cola larga es un ave insectívora de los bosques del sudeste asiático. Tiene una cola profundamente bifurcada y largas alas para un vuelo ágil. Plumaje principalmente gris con marcas blancas y castañas. Anida en ramas de árboles con un nido diminuto. Captura insectos en vuelo sobre el dosel del bosque y los bordes. La pérdida de bosques es una amenaza para esta especie.

Distribución geográfica
Found from the Thai-Malay Peninsula south through Sumatra, Borneo, and the Philippines. Resident in lowland and hill forest up to 1,000 m.

Aerial insectivore launching from a treetop perch to hawk flies, beetles, and small flying insects; more perch-bound than true swifts.
