O andorinhão-trepador-de-bigodes é uma grande espécie de andorinhão das Molucas e da Papua Nova Guiné. Tem partes superiores verde-brilhante, partes inferiores mais claras e bigodes brancos. A cauda está profundamente bifurcada. Captura insetos em voo sobre os dosséis florestais. Nidifica em ramos de árvores. Habita em florestas primárias e orlas. Contribui para o controlo de insetos nos ecossistemas florestais da sua área de distribuição.
