O andorinhão-trepador-de-cauda-longa é uma ave insetívora das florestas do sudeste asiático. Tem uma cauda profundamente bifurcada e longas asas para um voo ágil. Plumagem principalmente cinzenta com marcas brancas e castanhas. Nidifica em ramos de árvores com um pequeno ninho. Captura insetos em voo sobre o dossel da floresta e as orlas. A perda de florestas é uma ameaça para esta espécie.

Found from the Thai-Malay Peninsula south through Sumatra, Borneo, and the Philippines. Resident in lowland and hill forest up to 1,000 m.

Aerial insectivore launching from a treetop perch to hawk flies, beetles, and small flying insects; more perch-bound than true swifts.
