Colibrí de garganta púrpura, 11-12 cm. Garganta y pecho púrpura iridiscente, lomo verde, pico curvado. Endémico de las islas caribeñas del este. Polinizador de flores de heliconias. Preocupación menor.
Little Sunangel
El solángel de pecho pequeño es un colibrí pequeño de los bosques nublados andinos del sur de Ecuador y el norte de Perú. El macho tiene partes superiores verde brillante y un gorjal iridiscente. Se alimenta del néctar de flores en los bosques nublados andinos. La hembra es más apagada. La distribución restringida de esta especie la hace vulnerable a la pérdida de hábitat en los Andes ecuatorianos y peruanos.
