How to Tell Them Apart

Metallic green upperparts and greyish-white underparts. Males have a brilliant iridescent ruby-red gorget that appears black in poor light. Females lack the gorget.

Der Rubinkehlkolibri ist der einzige im Osten Nordamerikas brütende Kolibri. Der Wanderalbatros besitzt mit bis zu 3,5 Metern die größte Flügelspannweite aller lebenden Vögel.
