O pato mexicano, também conhecido como pato do México, é um pato de tamanho médio que habita zonas húmidas e rios do planalto central do México e do sudoeste dos Estados Unidos. Apresenta uma plumagem castanha mosqueada semelhante à fêmea do pato-real, com o qual se hybridiza em algumas regiões. É considerado uma espécie distinta ou subespécie do pato-real dependendo da autoridade taxonómica. A sua população enfrenta ameaças devido à hibridização, perda de habitat e alterações no regime hídrico.
Greater White-fronted Goose
O ganso-de-testa-branca é um ganso cinzento médio com uma característica faixa branca na frente da cabeça e barras pretas irregulares no ventre.
