ブラウンハリオアマツバメ（Hirundapus giganteus）はインドからインドシナ半島・スマトラ・ボルネオにかけての低地・丘陵林に生息する非常に大型のアマツバメ（体長20〜23 cm）。暗い褐色の羽衣と白い喉・腰が特徴。アマツバメ属の中では最大の種の一つ。

Found from India and Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia to Borneo and the Philippines. Resident in lowland and hill forest, soaring over ridges.

Aerial insectivore feeding on tiny flies, beetles, and ballooning spiders in rapid powerful aerial pursuit.
