El pato silbador moteado es un pato silbador de Indonesia, Filipinas y Nueva Guinea, fácilmente reconocible por el plumaje marrón oscuro con manchas blancas en los flancos. Habita en bosques húmedos tropicales con estanques, pantanos y arrozales. Como todos los patos silbadores, tiene un llamado silbante característico y postura erguida. Está clasificado como casi amenazado.

Crested Shelduck

El tarro crestudo es una especie casi extinguida y extremadamente rara originaria de Corea, China y posiblemente Japón. Solo se conocen tres pieles de museo y avistamientos muy ocasionales en estado salvaje; no ha sido confirmada desde los años 1970.
