Spotted Whistling-duck
Dark brown above; head and neck dark brown. Underparts heavily spotted white on dark brown ground, giving spotted appearance. Flanks with bold white spots. Pink-red bill and legs. Sexes similar.
Surf Scoter
Male is entirely glossy black except for white patches on forehead and nape; bill tricolored orange, red, and white with black spot. Female sooty-brown with two white facial patches.

El pato silbador moteado es un pato silbador de Indonesia, Filipinas y Nueva Guinea, fácilmente reconocible por el plumaje marrón oscuro con manchas blancas en los flancos.
