El cauquén de cabeza blanca o ganso de las Malvinas es un ganso de la costa del Atlántico sur, desde el sur de Argentina hasta las Islas Malvinas. Tiene la cabeza y el cuello blancos y el cuerpo gris barrado en el macho, siendo la hembra de color marrón barrado. Habita en costas rocosas y pastizales costeros, y está clasificado como casi amenazado por la presión de caza.
Black-headed Duck
El pato cabeza negra es un pequeño pato buceador (~530 g) de América del Sur, familia Anatidae, y el único miembro del género Heteronetta. Tiene la cabeza negra en el macho y cuerpo marrón.
