About These Birds

Chorlitejo oriental (Charadrius veredus), 22–25 cm. Collar pectoral castaño-rojizo intenso; frente blanca; dorso pardo; vientre blanco. Cría en Mongolia y China; inverna en Australia. Gran migrador. Habita en estepas, pastizales y playas. Se alimenta principalmente de insectos.
