Chorlitejo de la costa africana (Charadrius marginatus), 14–16 cm. Collar pectoral incompleto; frente blanca; dorso pardo claro; vientre blanco. Habita en playas arenosas y estuarios del África subsahariana y Madagascar. Residente. Se alimenta de pequeños invertebrados en la zona intermareal.
