El hormiguerito de Bahía es un hormiguerito Casi Amenazado endémico del Bosque Atlántico del estado de Bahía, Brasil. Tiene una corona negra bien definida y partes inferiores blancas con rayas oscuras. Se alimenta de insectos en el interior del bosque. La deforestación severa del Bosque Atlántico en Bahía ha reducido significativamente su hábitat disponible, poniendo en riesgo sus poblaciones. Especie protegida bajo la legislación brasileña.
