Acerca de

El charrán blanco es un pequeño charrán completamente blanco con un pico negro puntiagudo y grandes ojos oscuros. Mide unos 28-33 cm. Habita en islas oceánicas tropicales de los océanos Índico y Pacífico. Notoriamente pone un solo huevo directamente en una rama de árbol sin construir nido, confiando en el equilibrio del huevo para mantenerlo en su lugar. Se alimenta de pequeños peces. Su plumaje inmaculado le da un aspecto fantasmal en vuelo.
