Fumarel de Nueva Zelanda (Chlidonias albostriatus), 28–31 cm. Plumaje gris pizarra oscuro; frente y superciliar blancas; pico negro; patas rojizas. Endémico de Nueva Zelanda. Habita en ríos de lecho pedregoso de la Isla Sur. Especie amenazada. Se alimenta de insectos acuáticos e invertebrados.
