Distribución geográfica
Breeds in West Africa from Senegal east to Ethiopia. Intra-African migrant; male has extraordinary elongated flag-like wing feathers.
Diet & Feeding
Feeds nocturnally on flying insects, chiefly moths and beetles, by hawking low over arid scrub and desert margins.
