Distribución geográfica
Found from Angola and the DRC south through Zambia and Zimbabwe to South Africa. Resident in woodland and savanna near rocky outcrops.

Nocturnal aerial insectivore specialising in large moths and flying beetles, caught in slow erratic hunting flights.
