How to Tell Them Apart
Kanadareiher
Blue-grey body with a white head bearing a broad black stripe extending to a long black plume. Rufous-brown thighs. In flight, the neck is folded into an S-shape.

Kanadareiher
Der Kanadareiher ist mit einer Höhe von bis zu 1,4 Metern der größte Reiher Nordamerikas. Diese geduldigen Jäger können lange Zeit reglos verharren, bevor sie mit bemerkenswerter Geschwindigkeit nach Beute stoßen.
