Der Weißkopfseeadler ist der Nationalvogel und das Symbol der Vereinigten Staaten. Kaiserpinguin
Der Kaiserpinguin ist die größte und schwerste aller Pinguinarten. Er brütet unter den härtesten Bedingungen der Erde und erträgt antarktische Wintertemperaturen von bis zu -60 °C und Windgeschwindigkeiten von 200 km/h. Männchen bebrüten das einzelne Ei etwa 65 Tage lang auf ihren Füßen unter einer Bruttasche, während sie fasten.
