Die Küstenseeschwalbe hält den Rekord für die längste bekannte Wanderung im Tierreich und legt jährlich rund 70.000 km zwischen Arktis und Antarktis und zurück zurück. Königspinguin
Der Königspinguin ist die zweitgrößte Pinguinart und bekannt für seine auffälligen orange-goldenen Kopfzeichnungen. Anders als die meisten Pinguine baut der Königspinguin kein Nest, sondern bebrütet sein einzelnes Ei auf den Füßen. Sein 14 bis 16 Monate dauernder Brutzyklus ist der längste aller Pinguinarten.
