Eurasian Collared-dove
Medium dove, 31–33 cm, pale sandy-grey with a black half-collar on the hindneck and white-tipped tail. Originally from South and Southeast Asia, it spread explosively across Europe in the 20th century and was introduced to North America. Granivore of seeds and grains. One of history's most successful range-expanding birds. Least Concern.

Small dove, 26–29 cm, pale pinkish-grey with a black hindneck collar and white tail corners. Native to arid zones of sub-Saharan Africa from Senegal to Somalia and south to Tanzania. The ancestor of the domesticated Barbary Dove (ring-necked dove). Granivore of grass seeds and small grains in dry savanna, farmland, and desert edge. Least Concern.
