Chatham Albatross
Chatham Albatross, 90 cm, wingspan 220 cm, is Vulnerable and breeds only on The Pyramid, a single rocky stack in the Chatham Islands. Yellow bill with dark tip, grey head. Very restricted breeding range; pelagic across the South Pacific. Threatened by longline bycatch and the vulnerability of one tiny colony.
Campbell Albatross
Campbell Albatross, 88 cm, wingspan 220 cm, breeds only on Campbell Island south of New Zealand. Very similar to Black-browed Albatross; distinguished by a pale yellow iris (Black-browed has dark iris). Pelagic across the South Pacific. Near Threatened; affected by longline bycatch.
