Pohnpei Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus ponapensis), 22 cm. Green with a lilac head and an orange-yellow breast; endemic to Pohnpei, Micronesia. Occupies primary forest above 200 m on this volcanic island. Frugivore. Vulnerable; total range barely exceeds 100 km².

Large Green-pigeon

Large green-pigeon, 35–36 cm, the largest in the genus, with rich green plumage, a large yellow-green bill, and orange-tinged breast in males. Inhabits lowland dipterocarp and peat-swamp forest from southern Thailand and Myanmar through Sumatra, Borneo, and the Malay Peninsula. Frugivore of large forest figs. Vulnerable due to lowland forest loss.
