Pohnpei Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus ponapensis), 22 cm. Green with a lilac head and an orange-yellow breast; endemic to Pohnpei, Micronesia. Occupies primary forest above 200 m on this volcanic island. Frugivore. Vulnerable; total range barely exceeds 100 km².

African Green-pigeon

Medium green-pigeon, 27–30 cm, bright green with a yellow-green head, yellowish underparts, and orange orbital skin (hence 'calvus' = bald). Widespread across sub-Saharan Africa from Senegambia to Ethiopia and south to KwaZulu-Natal, in woodland, savanna forest, and gardens. Frugivore of figs and wild berries. Least Concern.
