Red-moustached Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus mercierii), 27 cm. Green with a red moustachial streak and orange underparts; endemic to the Marquesas Islands. Last confirmed on Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa. Possibly Extinct; last reliably recorded in the 1970s. Threatened by introduced rats and cats.

Little Green-pigeon

Small green-pigeon, 20–22 cm; male has an orange forehead and breast patch with dark olive-green body; female is plain green. One of the smallest Treron. Inhabits lowland forest and mangroves of Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo, and adjacent islands. Frugivore of figs and small berries. Least Concern.
