Grey Imperial-pigeon (Ducula pickeringii), 40 cm. Pale grey overall with darker metallic green flight feathers; endemic to islands of the Sulu Sea and southwestern Philippines. Inhabits coastal and lowland forest on small islands. Frugivore. Vulnerable; hunting and deforestation on its small island range.

Pohnpei Fruit-dove (Ptilinopus ponapensis), 22 cm. Green with a lilac head and an orange-yellow breast; endemic to Pohnpei, Micronesia. Occupies primary forest above 200 m on this volcanic island. Frugivore. Vulnerable; total range barely exceeds 100 km².
