Shining Imperial-pigeon (Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. Richly iridescent bronze-green upperparts with a contrasting pale grey head and underparts. Found in montane forest of New Guinea from 700 to 2,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in hill and montane forest.

Andaman Green-pigeon

Medium green-pigeon, 26–29 cm, predominantly green with olive-yellow underparts; male has a small orange throat patch. Endemic to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal. Inhabits lowland and hill forest. Frugivore of figs and berries. Least Concern.
