Shining Imperial-pigeon (Ducula chalconota), 38 cm. Richly iridescent bronze-green upperparts with a contrasting pale grey head and underparts. Found in montane forest of New Guinea from 700 to 2,200 m. Frugivore. Least Concern; common in hill and montane forest.

Timor Cuckoo-Dove

Large slender cuckoo-dove, 40–43 cm, rufous-brown with heavy black barring on the upperparts and a long tail. Found in forests and forest edge on Timor, Wetar, and Babar in the Lesser Sunda Islands. Frugivore of forest fruits. Least Concern.
