Spotted Imperial-pigeon (Ducula carola), 40 cm. Dark green with white spotting on underparts and a pale grey head; endemic to the Philippines (Luzon, Mindanao, Negros). Inhabits primary forest from lowlands to 1,200 m. Frugivore. Vulnerable; severe Philippine deforestation.
Enggano Cuckoo-Dove
Slender cuckoo-dove, 32–35 cm, uniform warm cinnamon-rufous with minimal barring and a relatively short tail. Restricted to Enggano Island off the southwestern coast of Sumatra. Inhabits dense lowland forest. Frugivore. Vulnerable due to extremely small range and ongoing forest loss on the island.
