Pale-capped Pigeon (Columba punicea) — 36–40 cm. Maroon-chestnut body; pale greyish-white cap; greenish neck gloss; red orbital skin. Inhabits forest and forest edge of South and Southeast Asia from northeast India to Vietnam. Frugivore. Vulnerable; severely declining due to forest loss and hunting.
