The Arabian Babbler is a social passerine from the arid regions of the Arabian Peninsula and nearby areas, weighing about 73 grams with a wingspan near 22 cm. It lives in cooperative family groups that defend territories together and assist in raising young, making it a classic subject of cooperative breeding research. Its sandy-brown scaly plumage blends well with the rocky desert and scrub it inhabits.
