Cuco-de-Horsfield (Cuculus optatus) — Cuco migratorio das florestas temperadas do nordeste da Ásia até a Austrália e Oceania. Plumagem cinza com ventre barrado semelhante ao cuco-europeu. Parasita ninhos de pássaros cantores. Habitat de florestas de coníferas e mistas. Um dos cuculos migratórios com maior trajetória na região do Pacífico.

Lesser Roadrunner (Geococcyx velox) — 46–52 cm. Similar to Greater Roadrunner but smaller with a more streaked breast. Found in dry scrub, open woodland, and arid valleys from Mexico to Nicaragua. Non-parasitic; carnivorous; eats insects and small vertebrates. Shares the same terrestrial running lifestyle as its northern relative.
