Coua-corredor (Coua cursor) — Coua terrícola das florestas espinhosas do sul de Madagascar. Habita um dos habitats mais únicos do mundo, o thicket de Didymelaceae e Didiereaceae. Corre pelo solo em busca de insetos e lagartos. Plumagem com tons acastanhados e marcas faciais. Endémico de Madagascar como todos os membros do gênero.
Western Koel (Eudynamys scolopaceus) — 39–46 cm. Male glossy black; female brown with white spots and barred underparts; red eye. Widespread from South Asia through mainland Southeast Asia. Brood parasite targeting crows and mynas. Frugivore and insectivore. Its rising wailing call heralds the Indian summer.
