Pomba-de-Malherbe (Columba malherbii) — Pomba das florestas do Golfo da Guiné, encontrada em São Tomé e Príncipe e no litoral do Gabão. Apresenta plumagem característica com tonalidades roxas e cinzentas. Habita florestas primárias densas e bordas de floresta. Espécie pouco estudada e com distribuição restrita.

Medium-large terrestrial pigeon, 30–33 cm, similar to New Guinea Bronzewing but with a white head (not just forehead). Confined to lowland forests of New Britain in the Bismarck Archipelago. Feeds on seeds and fallen fruits on the forest floor. Least Concern.
