Borrelho-de-Peron (Charadrius peronii), 14–17 cm. Colar peitoral castanho-ruivo, fronte branca, partes superiores acastanhadas. Habita praias arenosas e planícies de maré no Sudeste Asiático, de Mianmar às Filipinas e Indonésia. Alimenta-se de pequenos invertebrados na areia e lama costeira.

Restricted to high-altitude moorland and montane grassland above 1,800 m in Ethiopia. Insectivorous. Sedentary; rare and little-studied. Declining due to overgrazing and agricultural encroachment.
