About These Birds
Little Ringed Plover
Borrelho-pequeno-de-coleira (Charadrius dubius), 14–17 cm. Colar peitoral preto completo, anel ocular amarelo distinto, partes superiores acastanhadas, partes inferiores brancas, bico preto. Amplamente distribuído em Eurasia e África. Habita margens arenosas de rios e lagos. Alimenta-se de invertebrados.

Restricted to high-altitude moorland and montane grassland above 1,800 m in Ethiopia. Insectivorous. Sedentary; rare and little-studied. Declining due to overgrazing and agricultural encroachment.
