O Inseparável-mascarado (Agapornis personatus) habita prados com árvores e áreas arborizadas do planalto do nordeste da Tanzânia. Mede aproximadamente 14-15 cm. Caracterizado pela cabeça preta distinta contrastando com o corpo verde brilhante e peito amarelo. É uma espécie muito social que vive em grandes bandos. Alimenta-se de sementes, gramíneas e frutos. Muito popular na avicultura mundial. Classificado como Pouco Preocupante pela UICN.
