Um tordo-da-capoeira pequeno e ativo da família Acanthizidae, endêmico da Austrália. O Tordo-de-cauda-castanha (Acanthiza apicalis) habita uma variedade de ambientes áridos e semi-áridos, incluindo matagais, mallee e florestas de eucalipto em toda a Austrália Ocidental e central. Mede aproximadamente 10 cm. Caracterizado pela cauda castanha distinta e partes inferiores listradas. Banded Whiteface
The Banded Whiteface is a small, plump bird of the family Acanthizidae found in arid scrubland of central Australia. Weighing about 10.5g with a wingspan of 11.4cm, it has a distinctive black band across the chest contrasting with its white face. It forages on the ground and in low shrubs for seeds and insects.
