Borrelho-flautista (Charadrius melodus), 17–19 cm. Colar peitoral preto, bico e pernas laranja-amareladas, partes superiores arenoso-claras. Espécie ameaçada que habita praias arenosas e margens de lagoas salobras na América do Norte. Alimenta-se de invertebrados. Nidifica no solo em praias abertas.
