Curicaca-do-norte (Cercibis oxycerca), 70–80 cm. Grande íbis com plumagem negra brilhante, bico longo e curvado vermelho-alaranjado, pele facial vermelha. Cauda relativamente longa. Habita pastagens alagadas e margens de rios na América do Sul tropical. Alimenta-se de insetos, crustáceos e pequenos vertebrados aquáticos.
