Richly patterned; black above with large white spots; rufous-orange face and throat; white-spotted black flanks; rufous-chestnut underparts with black shaft streaks. Female lacks rufous on face; duller below.
Sabah Partridge
Brown upperparts with dusky vermiculations; white supercilium; buffy-orange underparts; chestnut patch on breast less pronounced than in Chestnut-necklaced Partridge; greenish-grey legs; restricted to Borneo.
