Trumpeter Swan
Entirely snow-white plumage in adults. All-black bill lacking yellow patch. Large size; heaviest North American bird. Neck held straight. Juveniles gray-brown, becoming white by second year. Sexes similar.
Mallard
Breeding males have an iridescent green head, white neck ring, chestnut breast, and grey body. Females are mottled brown. Both sexes show a blue speculum bordered by white.

북아메리카 최대 토착 물새이자 가장 무거운 비조 중 하나로, 흰색 깃털, 긴 목, 전체 검은 부리를 가진다. 울림이 좋은 나팔 소리 같은 울음으로 명명되었다. 20세기에 적극적인 보전 활동으로 거의 멸종 위기에서 회복되었다. 북부 습지에서 번식한다.
