비악 쿠칼 (Centropus chalybeus) — 42–48 cm. 광택 있는 청흑색; 밤색-적갈색 날개; 옅은 황갈색 아랫면; 두꺼운 부리. 인도네시아 이리안자야 비악 섬 고유종. 저지대 및 구릉 숲 서식. 탁란 없음. 잡식성. 매우 제한된 섬 분포와 지속적인 서식지 훼손으로 취약종으로 등재.
중간 크기의 땅뻐꾸기로 체장 약 28cm이며, 갈색 윗면에 밝은 밤색 아랫면, 붉은 눈테를 갖는다. 멕시코에서 코스타리카까지 건조 및 반건조 지역의 숲과 관목지에 서식한다. 바닥에서 곤충, 도마뱀, 작은 씨앗을 먹는다. 관심 필요 종이다.
