Sage Grouse
북미 최대 뇌조(약 2.1 kg)로 수컷은 구애 과시 중 노란 공기주머니를 부풀리는 뾰족한 꼬리를 가진다. 미국 서부와 캐나다의 쑥(Artemisia) 생태계에 먹이와 번식 모두 전적으로 의존한다. 주로 쑥 잎을 먹는다. 준위협종으로 쑥 서식지 광범위한 전환으로 개체수가 크게 감소했다.
