소개
재두루미(Grus vipio)는 동아시아산 112–125cm의 대형 두루미다. 회색 몸통에 흰 목과 목덜미가 붉은 맨살 얼굴과 대비되며 목에 줄무늬 패턴이 있다. 몽골·중국 북동부에서 번식하고 일본·한국·양쯔강 유역에서 월동한다. 취약종으로 6,000마리 미만만 남아 있다.
