ブロルガ（Grus rubicunda）はオーストラリア唯一の在来ヅルで、体長100〜130 cm。灰色の体に頭部の裸出した赤い皮膚、灰色の肉垂。オーストラリア北部・東部の開けた熱帯・亜熱帯草原、氾濫原、湿地に生息。繁殖期には壮観な集団ディスプレイを行う。

Critically Endangered; world population only ~4,000 birds. Breeds in Arctic Siberia; winters primarily at Poyang Lake, China.
