コモンホウチャクカッコウ（Hierococcyx varius）はインド亜大陸の低地・丘陵林に広く生息するカッコウ科の鳥（体長33〜35 cm）。灰色の上面と縞模様の下面が特徴。托卵性。'brain-fever bird'（脳熱鳥）とも呼ばれる独特の上昇する鳴き声。
