Small Saint Helena Petrel
絶滅；セントヘレナ島の亜化石の骨のみから知られる。バルウェリアミズナギドリより小さく、17世紀の人間のセントヘレナへの入植後まもなく外来捕食動物により絶滅した。人類の到来によりほぼ絶滅させられたセントヘレナ固有の海鳥群集の一員。
Atlantic Petrel
43 cm, wingspan 104 cm. Large; dark brown above with pale belly and dusky breast-band creating hooded appearance. Breeds Tristan da Cunha and Gough Island; ranges into south Atlantic and Indian Ocean. Endangered; threatened by introduced predators and longline fisheries.
