ベニコンゴウインコ
中央アメリカから南アメリカにかけての熱帯林に生息する大型のコンゴウインコ（体長90〜95cm）。鮮やかな赤い体に青い翼上部と緑の翼の縁が特徴。Ara chloropterus（グリーンウィングドマコー）は最も大きなコンゴウインコの一つで、硬い木の実を割る強力な嘴を持つ。生息地の破壊とペット取引により個体数が減少している。Psittacidae科。

The Amazonian Parrotlet is a small parrot weighing about 42 g with a 16.4 cm wingspan, found in bamboo stands and riverside forest in western Amazonia. It moves in flocks, feeding on seeds and foraging within dense bamboo thickets.
