サウスアイランドミヤコドリ(Haematopus finschi)はニュージーランド固有の大型ミヤコドリ(体長44〜49 cm)。背面は黒、腹面は白;オレンジ赤色のくちばし;ピンク色の脚。南島の網状河床で繁殖し、北島・スチュアート島の干潟で越冬。ニュージーランド唯一の島間を移動するミヤコドリ。
